The Death of my Father Essay -- Autobiography Essay, Personal Narrative

Everyone has milestone days in his/her life that change the direction of his/her life for better or worse. Let me tell you one of my experiences that I will never forget from when I was 12 years old. It was Friday night, I took a shower, and one of my aunts came into the bathroom and told me that my dad was sick but he was going to be ok. She told me that so I did not worry. I finished taking a bath, and I immediately went to my daddy’s house to see what was going on. My dad was throwing-up blood, and he could not breath very well. One of my aunts cried and prayed at the same time. I felt worried because she only does that when something bad is going to happen. More people were trying to help my dad until the doctor came. Everybody cried, and I was confused because I thought it was just a stomachache. I asked one of my older brothers if my dad was going to be ok, but he did not answer my question and push me away. My body shock to see him dying, and I took his hand and told him not to give up. The only thing that I heard from him was, â€Å"Daughters go to auntie...

What Does Farmersville Measure P And Q - 878 Words

Farmersville Measure P and Q Farmersville is in major deficit since the recession. In order to increase the budget the City of Farmersville needs a solution, which will benefit 10,704 people who lives within the city limits. To be able to increase the budget the city came up with two measures, this measure intends to help people of Farmersville, California, which will bring more jobs, better service for the community, and road construction and will bring programs to help the young and the elderly. The city of Farmersville has a major budget deficit that is require action. Their first option is measure P that can help the community with revenues. Mariajuana was pass yet not many people would benefit from it and in order for the benefits to reach the community of Farmersville California had to implement Cannabis Tax to businesses, this businesses are going to operate on the outskirts of the city and which revenues is going toward the City general foundlings. Money that is collect will go into the City of Farmerville funds for the community usage. Some people believe that cannabis is bad and will bring more violence into the city because the Marijuana brings bad people’s attention and some might fear of people breaking in the dispensaries and others see from a different perspective. Other people believe that California allowed weed plantation, yet funds were not entering in the Farmerville Budget. When there is no revenues in the city, people who resides in the city suffer a major impact by not having enough money to keep cop, fire fighters, programs and the city maintenance which could a channel to delinquency and fear. Many people are not getting the right service because of lack of money. Police and fire department staff are suffering the consequences of shortage of money, yet this is affecting the whole communities because when there
